Add, update, or delete an appraisal in Master Guidance Line of Credit or Borrowing Base
Built disseminates information from the Subdivision level, which means that adding, updating, or deleting an appraisal also occurs at the Subdivision level. This centralization also makes adding, updating, and deleting appraisal information more efficient for the lifetime of the agreement, preventing you from having to update each individual unit when this information changes.

Add an appraisal

You may not receive an appraisal until after adding plans to a subdivision . If you have the appraisal at the time of adding plans, you can add the appraisal when adding a plan. Otherwise, the user can follow these steps to add the appraisal to an existing plan.
  1. On the Overview page, click the Subdivisions tab.
  2. Find the subdivision to which you want to add an appraisal and click the in-line Edit icon.

Troubleshooting

Unable to delete an appraisal

If you see a warning about being unable to delete an appraisal due to it being used on a collateral unit but none of the active collateral units are relevant, there may be an archived piece of collateral still using the appraisal. Use the following steps to check.

  1. In the Collateral Grid, click Filters.

  1. Click Collateral Status to expand the menu.

  2. Check the returned units for the associated appraisal.
  3. Delete the appraisal from those units.

Once you've run through the above troubleshooting steps, you can try deleting the appraisal again.
